    Visual birth plans

Great alternative to a written birth plan, has given my husband and I an opportunity to work through our birth preferences in a visual manner and easier view for professionals involved in our care.

    Great tool

Posted by Helen on 9th May 2019

Really useful tool to create a visual birth plan to make it easy for midwives to understand our birth preferences. I had fun putting these together on a sheet and colouring in (good to pass the time on mat leave!)

Very useful for creating my visual birth plan. Would be ideal as stickers. I have a copy of the Positive Birth Book and it’s been such an inspiring read. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is expecting.

Positive Birth Book and downloads-Milli Hill

Posted by Tina Wyeth on 9th Apr 2019

Absolutely fantastic book! So glad I read before giving birth as it made me aware of my options and also the importance of having a plan - even if it doesn’t go the way you thought it would at least the Midwives have something to work towards and know that you are informed!
I used the downloadable symbols to put together my own birth plan which I am pleased to say was followed and respected by the midwives who looked after us. Thank you so much for such a wonderful resource! Tina & Baby Maddie
