2016

Spring: Pinter & Martin opens effraspace, a multi-purpose venue dedicated to pregnancy, birth & parenting education.


2015

September: Zoë Hutton becomes full-time publishing and events assistant.

September: Pinter & Martin acquires the lease of the former Brockwell Community Centre, to be refurbished and launched as effraspace in 2016.

May: Pinter & Martin becomes the proud sponsor of Sprogcast.

April: Pinter & Martin appoints Emily Furniss as its PR manager.

February: The Roar Behind the Silence published.

January: Pinter & Martin creates new YogaWords imprint, including all titles acquired from YogaWords and existing Pinter & Martin yoga titles.


2014

December: Pinter & Martin acquired full ownership of its sister company YogaWords, formerly a joint venture with YogaMatters, and all YogaWords titles and existing Pinter & Martin yoga titles will be published under the new YogaWords imprint as of January 2015. See the press release here.

October: Pinter & Martin hires Zoë Hutton, as part-time publishing assistant.

September: Pinter & Martin hires Zoë Blanc, former publishing coordinator at YogaWords, as publishing manager.

March: Pinter & Martin hires Gaby Moss, formerly with the Carbon Trust, as marketing manager.

January: Pinter & Martin refurbishes office to take over the entire ground floor of 6 Effra Parade.

13 titles published in 2014: Breastfeeding Made Easy, Dynamic Positions in Birth, The Lovely Book for Wonderful Women, A Baby Wants to be Carried, Breast Intentions, Living with Dying, Beyond the Sling, Sweet Sleep, Dr Jack Newman's Guide to Breastfeeding, How you were born, Nurturing New Families, The Little Red Schoolbook and the second edition of Childbirth and the Evolution of Homo Sapiens.


2013

March: Pinter & Martin, with a heavy heart, leaves the lovely people at Central Books, to sign up Macmillan as its distributors, and appoints David Wightman at Global Book Sales as its sales company.

10 titles published in 2013: Childbirth and the Future of Homo Sapiens, Childbirth without Fear (new edition), The Hormone of Closeness, Baby Management for Men, Irrationality (new edition), Your Daddy and Me, When you were in my tummy, Deutschland, Mistakes were Made (but not by Me) (new edition) and Optimal Care in Childbirth.
